I am proud and excited to introduce the Trim and Tiny Cooking show hosted by my 10-year-old son’s hands and featuring all Trim Healthy Mama friendly recipes!
Have you seen those trendy and fun real miniature cooking videos on Facebook and YouTube? They’re my ten-year-old son’s absolute favorite! He loves them so much that he wanted to make his own version. Thus, after collecting some really awesome miniature pieces, he (and I) are happy to announce the birth of the Trim and Tiny Cooking show!
We just finished shooting the very first episode ever of the Trim and Tiny Cooking show. This episode features something simple but yummy: the scrambled egg! We found some adorable little quail eggs at our local grocery store which sparked the inspiration for this first episode.
Follow along as my ten year old (er, rather, his hand!) gathers the necessary ingredients, lights up his real cooking stove, and makes a teeny tiny scrambled egg for you on his Trim and Tiny Cooking show!
ALL the recipes that we will be presenting in the Trim and Tiny Cooking show will be Trim Healthy Mama friendly recipes. Some will be my son’s favorites from the THM cookbooks, others will be some that I have developed, and yet others will be basics (like scrambled eggs) or things that he has come up with on his own. There will also be guest cooks such as my ten year old’s younger brother or sister.
Where’s Hunter?
As an added bonus for a bit of fun, our orange pet tabby cat (whose name is Hunter) will be making an appearance in each video (er, rather, his miniature version)! We’re going to have fun with this and move him around the kitchen or have him pop up at only certain times in the video. If you spot him, be sure to leave a comment below or in the comment section of that episode’s video on YouTube or Facebook!
The Apron
To make the Trim and Tiny Cooking show feel more official for my son who’s hosting it (with his hand), I had an awesome embroidered apron made just for him with the Trim and Tiny Cooking logo on it!
