Have you tried the Everything Bagel Seasoning? It’s a blend of seeds and spices like you might be able to find on top of, well, an everything bagel! And it’s great to add on or in lots of different things to boost the flavor!
This seasoning can be found by spices in the baking aisle of many grocery stores. At Trader Joe’s (my fellow TJ) it’s called Everything But the Bagel Seasoning. Kroger and its various chains of grocery stores have their own variety of it. And even Costco has jumped on board with its very own rendition. Or, if you like to do it yourself, there are lots of homemade versions of this seasoning out there on the interwebs, including this one.
In my recipe roundup today, I included a variety of recipes where the creator thought beyond the bagel and used the seasoning on items that weren’t just bagels. But not to leave out the original partner in crime for the Everything Bagel Seasoning, I also included a couple of yummy low carb bagel options.
Beyond these recipes, this simple but tasty seasoning can be used on so much! You can stuff celery with cream cheese and sprinkle some on top. Add some atop your toast. Toss it with your lettuce based salad (check out this post for more tossed salad ideas). Or mix it into stuff like scrambled eggs or dip!
