Submissions

Submissions

  • If you have a recipe that you believe our audience will love, please submit it below.

    Submission Requirements

    • All recipes submitted to TJsTaste.com are REQUIRED to be Trim Healthy Mama friendly, keto, and/or low carb or healthy carb.
    • If submitting a photo to go along with your recipe, it needs to be your own photo, not a stock photo or a photo swiped off the internet. Keep in mind that this photo may or may not be used (more than likely, we will take our own photo so that it fits the TJ’s Taste brand).
    • Feel free to include any back story or interesting information concerning your recipe in the Summary section. This is optional.
    • Insert your name in the form as you’d like it seen on TJsTaste.com should your recipe be published.
    • Recipes being submitted must be original to you (one that you invented or one that you adapted) and not found published anywhere else (online or off).

    Recipe Submission

  • If you have a healthy menu plan you want to share, please submit it below. We require a plan consisting of breakfast, lunch, and dinner (plus any sides that go with any of these meals).

    Submission Requirements

    • All recipes/dishes in the menu plan are REQUIRED to be Trim Healthy Mama friendly.
    • Insert your name in the form as you’d like it seen on TJsTaste.com should your menu plan be published.

    Menu Plan Submission

  • I don’t usually publish guest posts here on TJ’s Taste, but if you have something you think would be an excellent fit, feel free to read over the submission guidelines and submit your NON-RECIPE piece in the form below.

    Submission Requirements

NOTE: This is for a NON-RECIPE submission. If you would like to submit a recipe, please select “Recipe” above.

    • Family friendly. Both the content of the post and whom the writer represents must be family friendly (meaning it’s safe for an 8-year-old child to view).
    • Originality. The work must be completely original to its author. Plagiarism will not be tolerated.
    • Exclusivity. The work must be exclusively for publication on TJ’s Taste. This means it has never been published before and never will be published anywhere else ever again.
    • Compatibility. Our blog’s genre is healthy eating, healthy lifestyle, and healthy weight loss. This means menu  plans, tips, ideas, etc. that are weight loss, keto, low carb, healthy carb, and/or Trim Healthy Mama friendly are acceptable.
    • Grammar and spelling. TJ has a college degree in Professional Writing. As a result, she does not take grammar and spelling errors lightly. Before you submit a guest post, make sure it is grammatically correct and everything is spelled correctly.
    • Length. The work must be a minimum of 700 words.
    • Advertising. Even if you are submitting the post for the sake of having a link to a business you represent, your guest post should NOT sound like an advertisement. It should be a thoughtful, high-quality piece.
    • Links. If you’re referencing something in your post, links are okay as long as they don’t look like an advertisement or spam. Affiliate links are NOT allowed. With few exceptions, a maximum of 2 links to the same business or blog you represent are allowed in the content and 1 or 2 links to your websites and/or social media profiles are permitted in your bio information. For search engine quality, these links might be set to no-follow.
    • Images. We require that you include at least one relevant image in the guest post. This image must be high-quality and visually appealing. If it is your own work, great. If it is another’s work, it must be used with permission and have a link to the original artist’s work or website. We retain the right to use a different image as we deem necessary.
    • Bio. At the bottom of the guest post there will be a short (2 or 3 sentences) bio about you and whom you represent. A maximum of 2 links to the websites, blogs, or social media profiles you represent is permitted.
    • Editing. We retain the right to edit the post as we see necessary. We may also return the article for author edits (such as to clarify a point or make something more succinct).
    • Frequency. With few exceptions, guest post authors may submit up to one guest post per month.
    • Approval. We read all guest posts prior to approving them. We retain the right to reject any post for any reason. Reasons may include (but are not restricted to) violation of any of the above stated requirements, lack of availability to publish the work, or simply just does not suit our audience.
