Behold, the pumpkin all the things season is beginning to strike! It seems like this season arrives earlier and earlier every year. Well, since my coaching clients like to call me the Creamer Queen (thanks mainly to this homemade flavored creamer recipe), I decided why not delight them and all my readers with a super easy, super fast pumpkin pie coffee creamer made with REAL pumpkin–just in time to enjoy this pumpkin everything time of year!

Homemade Pumpkin Pie Coffee Creamer

The inspiration for this recipe is pretty obvious. Pumpkins. And fall. But, unlike most of my flavored coffee creamer combos, this one has some veggie (or fruit, depends on how you look at it) in it–specifically real pumpkin puree.

This pumpkin pie coffee creamer recipe takes a mere 5ish minutes to whip up. And it makes the whole house smell AMAZING! My kids thoroughly enjoyed the smell as I whipped up each batch. And they LOVED the taste too–they drank some of it just plain (no coffee necessary)!

This recipe is perfect to make when you crave pumpkin or pumpkin spice in the fall, but it can feasibly be made any time of the year too.

Oh, and for those of you on the Trim Healthy Mama plan–this recipe is a Fuel Pull (FP) up to 1/4 cup, just like the flavored coffee creamer (it becomes an S after that)!

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, mix together all of the ingredients.
  • Bring to a boil. Boil, stirring constantly, until the powdery pumpkin pie spice has fully incorporated into the mixture.
  • Remove from heat. Remove and discard cinnamon sticks. Add immediately to a cup of coffee (keeping in mind it's hot) or allow to cool. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator and stir or shake before using.

Notes

Optional–You can add protein powder or collagen to this recipe as well. After removing it from the heat, stir in one or the other. The amount needed depends on how many servings you’d like to get out of the creamer (so if you use the recommended 2 tablespoon serving, you’d add 16 scoops of protein powder or collagen). This will thicken up the creamer a bit as well. Personally, I just like to add the protein collagen or protein powder directly to my cup of coffee.

You’ve done it again, TJ….I would give it 10 stars if I could! This creamer ROCKS! Just made my 3rd batch today along with the caramel one….I am so addicted to it! Thank you so much for all your recipes and hard work….There is not one recipe of yours that I have made that hasn’t come out just awesome…BTW,I’m also totally addicted to your Kale and Brussels Sprouts salad with tat awesome maple vinagrette dressing….I seriously have it at least 3 times a month and I always bring it to potlucks…EVERYONE devours it and wants the recipe…This trim, healthy Mama really appreciates you!

    1. I’m so glad you like it! Thank you so much! ?

  2. Wow! I’ve been a bit upset seeing all the pumpkin creamers coming to stores knowing I can’t have them on THM. Searched Pinterest and found your recipe. I took a sip of the creamer and I can’t wait to get up in the morning to add it to a cup of coffee! I made it dairy free by using Silk heavy whipping cream. I also used 1/4 cup xylitol free gentle sweet instead of stevia because I like gentle sweet better in my coffee. I’ll be brewing some caramel flavored coffee to go with this creamer tomorrow. Thanks for an incredible recipe. I don’t feel like I’m missing out on the fall flavors now.

I love your recipes and they always turn out so well for me, but do you really add 16 scoops of protein powder or collagen???? I don’t see how this can even be done…it would be a sludgy mess, not to mention super expensive!

    1. Hi, Patty. That’s why I say I don’t add it lol. Some readers have said they have just fine.

  4. Oh man, TJ! This makes coffee DIVINE! I love this “diet”!
