People notice that I am a THM certified lifestyle coach and that I like to promote Trim Healthy Mama’s products, so they wonder if THM is yet another MLM (Multi-Level Marketing scheme, like Avon, Young Living, etc.). The answer is NO. It most definitely is not. I had to pay for the education to become a THM certified lifestyle coach and after that I am totally on my own. When I take on a client, I set my own prices and THM gets ZERO profit from my coaching at that point. In an MLM, the person selling works hard to earn very little while filling the company CEO’s and upline’s pockets. THM does NOT work that way. There are no uplines or downlines or use of cult tactics with THM.
As for the products that I promote, I promote them because they are very pure and perfect for excellent health. I NEVER EVER promote products (whether I’m getting paid to or not) unless I have personally tried them myself and I authentically love and truly recommend them. Now, I am part of THM’s affiliate program which means I share my affiliate link and get a small percentage of sales which go back into my website (I use this money to buy ingredients for recipe development and to pay website fees to keep my website and its content free for you).
